Vintage 1940's Mens Biker Ring HORSE HEAD INSIDE Lucky HORSESHOE Mexican Souvenir Ring
The Men's Biker Rings or Mexican Souvenir Rings were made during the 1940's out of melted Mexican Pesos. Artisans in Mexico along border towns found the copper and brass coins to be of more value if they melted them and made rings to sell to the gringo tourists. In the 1950's they became better known as Mexican Biker Rings due to these rings being made popular by the bikers that would travel south and ride back with 4 rings on each hand... aka legal brass knuckles.
